Dear Stephen,

In your opinion, this Corona pandemic…. Is this some kind of test for mankind or just a game or...? Of course Infinite i is the only one who knows but it would be very interesting to read your thoughts about it. Please give a very long answer ;.)

Dear Esa,

In my new book, I suggest that what I called the Infinite I in Butterflies may actually be what astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson has called a "snot-nosed kid sitting in front of his computer in the basement of his parents' house in an alien civilization," who created and operates the computer simulation we live in. So I asked this "Kid" about the coronavirus, and this is the answer I got...

KID: "In 2020, in China, in a city called Wuhan, I created a new strain of the Corona virus called COVID-19, which suddenly started to spread like wildfire. People all over the world started rushing out to buy surgical masks to supposedly protect themselves, even though a study conducted by a team of researchers from the University of Michigan on more than 1,000 students living in residence halls found that the use of masks did not reduce symptoms at all. The masks might be great for doctors and nurses not passing on contaminants to the patients they’re treating, preventing large droplets of bodily fluids that may contain viruses from escaping via the nose and mouth. And they may also protect against splashes and sprays from others, such as those from sneezes and coughs. But it doesn’t work the other way around. The surgical masks simply don’t prevent the inhalation of small, airborne contaminants – like viral particles. Bottom line is that if you’re sick and want to protect others from whatever you might pass on, then wear a mask. But if you’re not sick and simply want to protect yourself from others, a mask will not help. Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention doesn’t recommend wearing masks, and the U.S. Surgeon General had to finally come out and literally beg people to stop buying surgical masks. Yet everyone rushes out to buy a mask whenever a new virus is found. That’s fear. And fear ignores logic and truth. And that’s one of the reasons I created the Corona virus – to give earthlings the opportunity to see how crazy and widespread their fear has become and to decide to have a different reaction/response. And I will keep creating these opportunities until you make a different choice.

ME: You said, “one of the reasons.” Is there another reason?

KID: Well, did you see what happened in your Congress? Both Republicans and Democrats spontaneously came together in a very bipartisan way to authorize trillions of dollars to fight COVID-19. You might be amazed at how COVID-19 brings people and the world together. What better example of de-polarization do you want? So, this is giving you the opportunity – before you go judging COVID-19 to be a “bad” thing or judging me for creating it – to step back and see a bigger picture and let go of those judgments as well as your fears."

I read both books of your snot-nosed kid conversations. I must say brilliant. The website you created for it is fantastic. I do belief we are inside a simulation. I can’t find any other explanation for what is going on with us. Well done.

Dear Christine,

Thanks for your comments about my Conversations books. You're right that the world is so crazy that the Simulation Hypothesis is the only one that, ironically, is the most logical and makes any sense at all.

For others reading this, please limit this Guestbook to comments about Butterflies Are Free To Fly and leave your comments about the Conversations with a Snot-Nosed Kid series, for example, on their own website, https://zetasimulation.com. Thanks.

It has been several years now since I first discovered this publication. I refer back to it often, mostly to the sections retained in my mind, but occasionally I read it again. Those people in the back of the theater have their place, and offer much guidance, some of them. But those who lead you to the door, they're the best. Thank you for waking me up and showing me the door.

Excited to read your novella and for the blog you're working up. Much love to you.

Dear Penny,

Glad to know the Model is still working for you, years later.

I am going to try to keep the Guestbook for Butterflies and the Conversations with a Snot-Nosed Kid series separate, so I invite you to visit https://zetasimulation.com if you would like to comment on my new novellas. Thanks.

I read the the Conversation with a snot nose kid right away. It is brilliant. I simply love it. Please give "him" my regards. It confirmed that some of the conclusion I have come to is right!

Maybe he is mine II too. It seems like you writing comes to me right when I need it. So thank yo to your both.

What is the other novel or haven't you published that yet.

This is so thrilling I am exited....

Dear Charlie,

Sounds like you had as much fun reading my new novella as I had writing it. That's good!

There are two short books in the Conversations with a Snot-Nosed Kid series. Those are the two I am referring to.

However, I am in the process of starting a blog to continue these conversations with The Kid, especially to follow the COVID-19 story, which he claims he created. So I'll let you know when that's up and running. You might be surprised at The Kid's first blog about the how the inventor of the PCR test (Kary Mullis) repeatedly said that his test could NOT be used as a medical diagnostic tool. And yet how are they testing people for COVID-19? By using the PCR. There's a lot here that doesn't smell right, and I thought The Kid might have some insights as we continue down this path.

Hey Stephen, just wanted to point out something I noticed about your material that I find to be intriguing. I have found the books and videos you have brought to light, to be remarkably similar to what another dude on the Internet is also presenting. I noticed a few years back that both of you seemed to be saying the same thing and seem to have zero affiliation with one another.

I’m referring to the material of the double PhD Bernardo Kastrup. His books, lectures and YouTube videos all make a pretty compelling case that “All is In Mind.” I found that this is basically what you too are saying (that consciousness is what is really at the ground floor of it all).

Now, I would have just believed this alone to be enough evidence to persuade me to investigate further (that you both have mind as fundamental and that each of you are unaffiliated from the other)...but then Bernardo Kastrup came up with a Coat of Arms design for both his blog and his Twitter account...and guess what it is?

Darned if it ain’t a BUTTERFLY! Kastrup even rolled out the design with an essay explaining what each sigil and symbol on it means. His explanations bare an uncanny resemblance to your presentations too!

Just thought you’d like to know this.

P.S. with me, please take what you need and leave the rest. I apologize for some of the more critical messages I’ve tried to leave on this comment forum. Hopefully the deeper meaning in my discovery of how similar you and Kastrup are will find a place in your mind too. Take care all.

Dear Ken,

It doesn't surprise me that someone else took a similar path to the Pacific Ocean. I have never claimed to be the only scout out there or the only one who's made it to the Pacific.

And the idea that consciousness is at the basis of it all is shared by a number of physicists these days. But I will try to find time study up on Dr.Bernardo Kastrup.

No need to apologize for "critical messages." I like it when people use critical thinking to challenge the Model. If the messages get too negative or become personal attacks - clearly just their ego struggling for survival - I simply don't post them. Fortunately, there aren't that many in that category.

Hi Stepehen !

Long time. I am still testing/living the model and must still say it works and have improved my my life in every aspect. I find it quit thrilling to come back to the web page after so long time and see the same butterfly on as I have tattooed on my lower right leg. How is it going with your film you was/are working on?
Replied on: 3:56pm 05-04-2020

Dear Charlie,

Thanks for your Model update! Glad to hear it's still working.

Wrote several screenplays but no luck getting them produced. Tough business. Easier to write and self-publish books. You don't need other people to approve your product to make it available to the public.

So I've just finished two new novellas in which I explore Neil DeGrasse Tyson's belief that we are living in a computer simulation created and operated by "some snot-nosed kid sitting in front of his computer in the basement of his parents' house in an alien civilization." I call the series "Conversations with a Snot-Nosed Kid," available as a paperback or Kindle on Amazon or as an ebook on Smashwords.com. Looks like this snot-nosed kid turns out to be my Infinite I.

How does a caterpilar turn into a butterfly
Stephen,

I just found this article on how exactly a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. It sounds a lot like spiritual autolysis.

Fascinating stuff! I especially like "after we started analysing and modelling these waves, we found these same patterns show up in all these other systems. It's a manifestation of this very universal wave pattern.

Hi Stephen, I read your book 6 years ago. Just finished reading it again. I love this model. It works and I love the freedom it offers.

I am free at last. In the back of the theater I was chained to spiritually correct language, spiritually correct emotions, spiritually correct responses, micro-managing myself into oblivion to make sure I don’t upset the New Age gods, especially my friend who appointed herself as my spiritual advisor, while pining at the horizon for my ship to come in. I am on my ship now, sailing the waters of pleasure.

If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him. I killed everyone.

And my II turned me into a carnivore. I lost 50lbs.

Thanks for this great book and being a scout.

It's been at least three years since I visited your site and a lot has happened. I won't go into the details except to say I have been practising the ideas that you and Jed put forth.

I am amazed at how much easier my life has become. Except for two or three things that can still flip my switch, life has become more tranquil, peaceful and enjoyable. I am working on my remaining switch flippers and am making steady progress.

What I really wanted to mention is how much quitter my mind has become and I didn't realize it. Two months ago I noticed a book on my Kindle that I don't remember buying "The Finders" by Dr. Jeffery Martin. I started reading it and was amazed that he was writing about me.

Finders are people whose "natural self talk" has stopped for what ever reason. Natural self talk is that little voice that is a constant companion telling oneself why something is happening, what is wrong with it, and how to fix it. Naturally what is wrong most the the time is other people. (As I read the book I notice that I had starting to calling it "negative self talk.")

I discovered that most of the time my natural self talk is turned off. I am at peace with myself, everyone else, all events swirling about me and profoundly grateful to be so at peace. When my switch gets flipped that peace disappears like a magicians coins and I want it back! The lack of peace is an indication that I need to study the situation and find what is bothering me and fix it which always means me letting it go.

My calm mind only worries about what I can change. And the only thing I can change is my actions and feelings.

The corona virus is an example. I don't want to catch it. What I can control is taking reasonable precautions not to. If I do catch the virus it was because of an event outside of my control. Either way I am not obsessing about the virus.

I read in a post you are working on another book. Any hint on when it will be ready? Please contact me when it is finished.
Replied on: 3:28pm 03-31-2020

Dear Phil,

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the Model. And thanks for the information about The Finders. It definitely is a quieter existence when the "natural self talk" stops.

I actually have finished writing my new book. It is a very short novel (novella) and probably is not what anyone might expect. It is based on the comments of astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson that he believes we are living in a computer simulation created and operated by "some snot-nosed kid sitting in front of his computer in the basement of his parents' house somewhere in an alien civilization." If true, this snot-nosed kid could well be the Infinite I I describe in Butterflies. So the book is an "interview" with this snot-nosed kid. It was so much fun to write and I hope fun to read. It is available as a paperback at..

That was just what the doctor ordered Randall, thanks.

This coronavirus is setting up a significant cognitive dissonance for this I (which goes around calling itself Tom) and this non-I. The two simultaneous beliefs at play in the dissonance are:

1) This is some serious stuff and worry is in order, I need to protect
juxtaposed with
2) All beliefs are false, there is no I, any outcome is perfect, just observe and be comfortable with all of the I-s actions and decisions

I now see worry and related products of ego as sort of "things" and I routinely will put them in a mental bottle. After packaging these things in that way it is easier for me to see that what is in that bottle cannot be me.

I think some of you I-s and non-I's may enjoy this presentation, which touches a bit on cognitive dissonance and presents some other interesting ideas about self, quantum mechanics, etc.

Nakata let his body relax, switch off his mind, allowing things to flow through him. This was natural for him, something he'd done ever since he was a child, without a second thought. Before long the borders of his consciousness fluttered around, just like the butterflies. Beyond these borders lay a dark abyss. Occasionally his consciousness would fly over the border and hover over that drizzling black crevasse. But Nakata wasn't afraid of the darkness or how deep it was. And why should he be? That bottomless world of darkness, that weighty silence and chaos, was an old friend, a part of him already. Nakata understood this well. In that world there was no writing, no days of the week, no scary governor, no opera, no BMWs. No scissors, no tall hats. On the other hand, there was also no delicious eel, no tasty Bean-Jam buns. Everything is there but there are no parts. Since there are no parts, there is no need to replace one thing with another. No need to remove anything, or add anything. You don't have to think about difficult things, just let yourself soak in it all. For Nakata, nothing could be better.
