Dear Tom et al.,

You said, “it initially puzzled me why you chose to try to nudge your hologram to try to see what might be movable in terms of school shootings.” And I want to write about that one more time, because it initially puzzled me as well. It seemed to me there was a problem with the Model. Where was there room, for example, for a butterfly to be socially or politically active, other than it was their excitement?

I thought a lot about Rosa Parks. Not saying she was a butterfly, but I am saying that out of her own excitement (or quest for equality), she sat down in a different seat on that bus. My question was: how would a butterfly do that without being judgmental? After all, I would like to think that a butterfly could play such a role in the social/spiritual advancement of society, if they wanted to.

I came to several different conclusions: 1. You don’t have to be judgmental to think that the hologram could be improved in some way. Although it can be a slippery slope, a butterfly could “prefer” to see something different in the hologram and take action to activate that preference.

2. I strongly believe (as does Jed) that there is a flow to the Universe. In Rosa Parks case, she might have seen or sensed that flow and her sitting down was timed perfectly to take advantage of that flow. It could even be that someone other than Rosa Parks had done exactly the same thing 2 year earlier, but nothing happened because that was not the flow of the Universe. When Rosa came along, it was the Universe saying that it wanted this change to happen, now who’s going to step up (or actually, sit down).

Putting these 2 things together, I saw something in my hologram which I would prefer to be different – corporal punishment and school shootings. However, I am not able to see the flow of the Universe clearly to know whether this is the right time for the U.S. to outlaw corporal punishment as 58 other countries have done. So I have to take some action and see what reaction I get in return.

The reaction I got said very clearly that the timing was not right. The Universe was not looking for the equivalent of Rosa Parks at this time for the corporal punishment issue. But it COULD have been, and therefore I felt the excitement to try. And if I didn’t try, someone else probably would. And as you said, “after all one generally finds their self up to something and it might as well be these things.”

But it did help me understand how improvements in the hologram can be made by a butterfly without judgment in accordance with the flow of the Universe.

Stephen, it initially puzzled me why you chose to try to nudge your hologram to try to see what might be movable in terms of school shootings. In perhaps like fashion it surprised me that Twain spoke about religion in a way other than seeing it as a curiosity.

I now understand why you made the choice you made and it helps me understand perhaps why Twain chose to say things about religion that he did. After all one generally finds their self up to something and it might as well be these things.

But of more interest (to me) than this is Twain's expose of The Moral Sense in the book. It took me over a year to understand what the moral sense is.

I consider The Mysterious Stranger to be the quintessential guide to society, whose members make their decisions in response to their moral sense. It is no accident that Twain chose to write about a society of witch hunters; the human societies that I am familiar with and in which I live are of that same nature;driven to witch hunt by the moral sense.

The moral sense is the human sensitivity to rules, norms, morays and such.

Humans use this sense to further their objectives. For example if a human's moral sense detects that a rule has been broken or challenged, the human will typically use this understanding toward an objective. That objective might be to look better in the eyes of others, or to gain wealth, to protect their self, or to put someone into their debt, to try to maintain or regain control, to benefit materially and probably for a thousand other purposes.

The moral sense is always used at the expense of another human.

In The Mysterious Stranger humans have no sense, except the Moral Sense. The book is delightful. I have listened to it more times than I have listened to your Holographic Universe Series which is to say that I've listened to it many times.

The best version of it that I know of is this

Dear Tom,

Oh, now I understand. You were surprised at Twain's judgment of religion coming after his "dream" speech. Got it.

And I really like the way you put this.... "After all one generally finds their self up to something and it might as well be these things."

I will try to listen to Twain as soon as possible. Right now I'm working to finish a new book - much more "radical" than Butterflies, I guess, having to do with the latest thinking in physics about ancestor simulations, and whether or not we might be one.

As always, thanks for your interesting input on this Guestbook.

In Twain's Mysterious Stranger the character Satan (who taught me all about The Moral Sense) says

"Nothing exists; all is a dream. God--man--the world--the sun, the moon, the wilderness of stars--a dream, all a dream; they have no existence. Nothing exists save empty space--and you!"

"I!"

"And you are not you--you have no body, no blood, no bones, you are but a thought. I myself have no existence; I am but a dream--your dream, creature of your imagination. In a moment you will have realized this, then you will banish me from your visions and I shall dissolve into the nothingness out of which you made me....

"I am perishing already--I am failing--I am passing away. In a little while you will be alone in shoreless space, to wander its limitless solitudes without friend or comrade forever--for you will remain a thought, the only existent thought, and by your nature inextinguishable, indestructible. But I, your poor servant, have revealed you to yourself and set you free. Dream other dreams, and better!

"Strange! that you should not have suspected years ago--centuries, ages, eons, ago!--for you have existed, companionless, through all the eternities. Strange, indeed, that you should not have suspected that your universe and its contents were only dreams, visions, fiction! Strange, because they are so frankly and hysterically insane--like all dreams: a God who could make good children as easily as bad, yet preferred to make bad ones; who could have made every one of them happy, yet never made a single happy one; who made them prize their bitter life, yet stingily cut it short; who gave his angels eternal happiness unearned, yet required his other children to earn it; who gave his angels painless lives, yet cursed his other children with biting miseries and maladies of mind and body; who mouths justice and invented hell--mouths mercy and invented hell--mouths Golden Rules, and forgiveness multiplied by seventy times seven, and invented hell; who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, then tries to shuffle the responsibility for man's acts upon man, instead of honorably placing it where it belongs, upon himself; and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him!...

"You perceive, now, that these things are all impossible except in a dream. You perceive that they are pure and puerile insanities, the silly creations of an imagination that is not conscious of its freaks--in a word, that they are a dream, and you the maker of it. The dream-marks are all present; you should have recognized them earlier.

"It is true, that which I have revealed to you; there is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream--a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought--a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!"

It is odd to me that after writing these incredible words that subsequent writings by Twain railed against religion. Perhaps though he was merely testing the limits of what was changeable in his hologram.

Dear Tom,

What a great quote! Thanks.

I must admit, though, that I am just a little confused.... you quoted Twain as saying "It is true, that which I have revealed to you; there is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream--a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you."

So why are you surprised "that subsequent writings by Twain railed against religion." I don't understand.

I am struggling to understand how free will works in the human game model. I have read thru every comment on the board and I am still unclear about free will. Here is an example. The II creates a hologram where my hand winds up on a hot stove. It begins to burn and I experience pain and smell my skin burning. At this point my II has the option to continue to have my hand burn (II choses of how to make that happen, maybe my body can't move from shock) or my II creates a hologram where I'm free to use my free will and make a decision for myself weather or not I move my hand or not. If I chose to move my hand. My hand moves. Who moved my hand? Am I not the one who just created a hologram where my hand moved? And if I did not create the hologram to move my hand, then the II created that hologram, and therefore I never had any free will at all to move my hand?

Put another way, if we have free will to react to the holograms, and our reactions include some action, are we not the creators of those actions, rather than the II?

I realize that I may be guilty of "intellectually arguing the model to be "wrong"" and that you have mentioned that rather the model should be tested. However; no matter how hard I think about it, I can't seem to figure out a way to test with certainty weather free will truly exists in the model, and if so, how it fits in. Thank you!
Replied on: 12:05pm 02-13-2020

Dear Dmitriy,

The most true thing you said was "I can't seem to figure out a way to test with certainty whether free will truly exists in the model," because the only way to actually test it is to live it.

Now, using your example, it all depends on what experience the II has chosen for you. If the experience is to see what your reaction/response would be if you touched a hot stove, then your reaction/response will be whatever your free will chooses, like pulling your hand off quickly. If, on the other hand, your II wants you to burn your hand so badly so that you have to decide whether to go to the hospital (testing your Christian Scientist beliefs), then you will keep your hand on the stove and your reaction/response doesn't start until after you can move your hand off the stove.

This is not difficult to understand once you start doing the work. And yes, I never said that our reactions don't include some "action," and yes, we are creators of those actions. As Players we make "actions" happen all the time in our holograms. I'm making lots of actions happen in my own hologram just sitting here typing this answer to you.

That may or may not help you, but the thing that would help you the most is to stop letting your ego create "intellectual arguments" (as you say) to delay its demise and just start doing the work.

'I AM' now known as 'Dr. ALi'...
It is because of Stephen Davis book and other reading material which has helped me reach my present level of ascension. Since becoming acquainted with my HigherSelf or as Stephen refer's to it... Infinite 'I'... Whom I named Ephraim! I have created a peace of mind; a totally more desired life experience and far greater 'Self control and Self-Empowerment! As the years pass by, I often return to watch the five part workshop series again and again for what I call... 'Greater Knowing'.

This work was a wonderful help in my ascension process! I am forever grateful. Since aligning with my HigherSelf, it has helped me to write over one hundred missives. These thought provoking missives touche almost every facet that one can experience in this duality. Helping to simplify the experience and give insightful meta-physical balance to anyone's journey. Below is a sample missive. Enjoy!

Again I say... 'THANK YOU'!

IT IS JUST A ‘GAME’

Of all the glues that hold the third and forth dimension together and the paths that keep you moving steady in a low vibrational delusion towards darkness; None has been found to be as deceptive, more luring than that of the art called ‘Game’. Understanding and choosing to let go of this glue requires a special recognition through centripetal thought. Let us begin…

Games were first introduced as innocent fun! They were eagerly and enthusiastically grasped mentally by all whom these games were introduced. Games are an evolving-subtle and very inextricable personified entity. It was accepted as past time entertainment or as amusement for social gatherings. So tell me dear friend… what honest harm could ‘Game’ play?

A game first involved singular enjoyment; it was a solitary challenge to always perform better the next time around. Then it became a test of personal intelligence. After a while the thought of playing ‘With’ someone was conceived. Game is tightening its line as it evolves and subtly sinks its self-perpetuating beliefs deeper into the crevices of the heart. Game is now a mighty psychological opponent. It always win! If you choose to play, you will always lose!

Your friend that you at first played ‘With’ has become your opponent and now is played ‘Against’! You have now learned a new motivation named Competition! Game’s hold is ever so tighter, its grip more secure. You are mentally, emotionally and physically trapped; and believe it or not it’s very severe! Game has you spiraling into an emotional decay. You are constantly lowering your vibration every time you play.

You have placed meaning with great value to ‘Win or Lose’. It has become an intricate part of your culture and to everyone that choose. Aggression is encouraged, winning is exalted. The lower animal propensities are once again awakened and the concept, ‘I Beat You’, has taken on a meaning of personification. Deeper and deeper into delusional thought does Game drag you. Losing has been formulated within the mind to be disdained, loathed and disgraceful! It is disgusting, humiliating and down right despicable to ‘Lose’. No one wants to ‘Lose’!

Winning has taken on an even more psychological entrapment! The winner is given a false sense of superiority, physical strength and self-empowerment! Winning is likened to an intoxication. The reasoning faculties have been compromised and you will now go to extreme measures, irrational tactics to WIN! You are now engulfed in winning. And losing is not an option. You have become a slave to ‘Game’ in whom you crave. You have given so fully to ‘Game’ your will, that now to win you would even ‘Kill’!

Do you remember how it feels? It runs deep doesn’t it? And the very thought of another basking in their victory can leave one feeling shameful. The body may even respond in clumsy movements. Your speech may even stutter for expression, while your feelings sink lower into a mood of depression.

You played ‘Game’ my man because it was cool; Now how do you feel, you loss-Fool! Everyone knows, it shows on your face; You know it too, by the feeling of disgrace! Something has been lost but how do you explain; you do not have the words but you do have the stain!

I demand a rematch, I demand a new game; by any means necessary, I refuse to live in shame! It’s all about me, my reputation has been scared; I‘ve been living a lie, my life’s a façade! I am willing to kill to re-establish my name and if I lose, my response is the same! How did I become that which I disdain? Could it possibly be over a simple ‘GAME’?

Dear Howard,

While I cannot know if my perception of white light is anything like yours, nor whether your hologram really does flip between Orion and Sagittarius realities, noonday sunlight on a clear day is pretty much the definition of white light. From wikipedia:

"The Sun is in fact white, and its spectrum peaks in blue and green light, but it can often appear yellow, orange or red through Earth's atmosphere due to atmospheric Rayleigh scattering, especially at sunrise and sunset." [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_dwarf]

So why might someone believe the sun used to be yellow when they were young?

When I was a child, a series of teachers taught me that the sun should be painted as a yellow ball with yellow lines coming out of it. They also taught me that the sky should be painted as a blue stripe at the top of the page and the ground was a green stripe at the bottom. These are mere conventions, and may just be because children paint using poster paints on whitish paper so it is difficult to paint a white sun. Similarly, their motor control is insufficient to colour in all the sky etc.

So for me, the belief I was taught as a child - that the sun is yellow with sunbeams coming out of it - turned out on reflection to be just a convenient way of representing reality. The map is not the territory, the word 'sun' is not the sun.

Of course, this is just one of many beliefs I was taught or otherwise picked up that it turns out didn't match my perceptions. I'm not suggesting that believing the sun is yellow is wrong for you or that you should change your mind, but you might find it interesting to consider where your beliefs come from and if you personally have any convincing proof - right here and now - that they are actually true. One way of doing this is The Process, which although primarily used on beliefs that cause distress can be applied to any belief.

David.

And may I add that every Orion reality I have been in has a WHITE SUN. MANY OF US WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SAGITTARIUS YELLOW SUN whose reality did NOT appear to be holographic. What is/was it?
Replied on: 1:00pm 01-22-2020

Dear Howard,

I have no idea what you're talking about. I only know that the sun I see is white, whatever that means to you.

I also know that everything we Players see is a hologram, because we are inside the hologram, not outside looking at it. Therefore, if there is such a thing as a "Sagittarius yellow sun," perceived by a Player, it was most definitely a hologram. Nothing else is possible for players in the Human Game (which I probably more correctly should be called the Humanoid Game!)

I will not say that the hologram you are perceiving is "wrong." I will only say that I don't see the same hologram, and am not particularly interested in it at the moment. At least not on this Comment board, which is dedicated to questions and comments from Players about their experiences with applying the holographic model in their lives.

You are dead on.

Are you familiar with a theory that essentially states (allowing for the existence of space) that there are at least 2 Earth realms. One in the Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way and this Earth realm I am now in - in the Orion arm of the Milky Way. They are roughly 80 million light years apart with possibly a black hole in between.

This black hole contains everything that ever was is and will be. With (2) white holes (one for each Earth) projecting the field of possibilities for each of us. Thus leading to the player's Free Will to make choices in Earth reality leaving the Infinite I to go to a positive or negative outcome that then plays out for the player?

I just finished watching a YouTube video on the Simulation Hypothesis. Despite being made with some religious (God) overtones, I was very pleasantly surprised how good it is, and highly recommend it. It gives a very good explanation of the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser experiment, which I only just touched on in my Holographic Universe Workshops (starts at 34:50 if you just want to watch that section).

I have a personal "wisdom board". On it I write what is my own personal wisdom, just for me to read. On that board are things like "in every walk of life, the fox is guarding the hen-house" and "the pump handle must move both up and down for the water to flow". It also says "wisdom has no audience" which means that what is on that board is for me only.

Related to the video Randall posted, one of the lines on my board says "hope and despair are siblings". I knew what it meant when I wrote it and sometimes I know what it means when I read it (I drift in and out of Samadhi).

Saying that everything happens for a reason is like saying there is a God; three little letters to encapsulate all of the unknowable Tao. But these metaphors are nonetheless useful.

Dear Randall,

Very interesting. Of course, I wish he had decided on a different conclusion than creating more beliefs. But I wonder whether he has touched on something very important - that every Player needs hope, and beliefs can provide that hope - false hope though it may be. So does this Model, in letting go of beliefs, have a side-effect of hopelessness? Or in refusing to live on false hope based on inaccurate beliefs, is any feeling of hopelessness simply an indication that you're getting "there" and to keep going? Anyone want to comment?

Why do any of us experience what seems to be a mad world?

Does it seem like the creator of your experiences is more like a kid torturing a frog than anything else? Do some or many of your experiences, seem absolutely tragic according to the standard understanding?

I'm in the "club" aren't I? I mean I'm posting here and we've got a different kind of realization here; doesn't that make me sort of a "golden-boy"? Why am I not getting rewards according to my expectations? Why is there illness? Why are my relationships with family so difficult? Why are my business, technical and scientific accomplishments not recognized for their greatness? Why don't people that I have relationships with immediately recognize that they are in the presence of someone with unique insight? Why aren't I celebrated, and famous, and rich? Why don't people recognize and seek me out for my wisdom?

At my age why do I not have a sizable nest-egg in the form of a fat 401K, savings, investments, properties, solid health insurance coverage and dental and with sizable life insurance policies for my loved ones once I depart? Those are what life is about right?

One of my favorite sayings is "in every walk of life, you will find the fox is guarding the hen-house". And what I mean by that is- my experiences with others are in stark contradiction to how it seems they should be.

The government that I think should be caring for the people is serving its selfish interests. The police are ambivalent. The people in charge of me are dull and uninspired. The family that I bust my ass for is unappreciative. My neighbor serves his own interests with a disregard for mine. The same people running Greenpeace and The Nature Conservancy and who are marching against Monsanto are all driving new SUVs and using energy and discarding plastics at an absurd pace.

I have shaken my fist at the sky when I have felt overwhelmed by the madness of my experience.

The answer to why things are mad instead of sane can only be that the madness around me is a gift-or else the infinite I (or whatever you call such) is a sort of torturer, or perhaps at best an ambivalent observer who set the clock-works in motion and dispassionately watches.

But I have come to realize that these madnesses I experience are all pointers so that I may realize that I am living in a dream state.

From Twain's Mysterious Stranger "Strange, indeed, that you should not have suspected that your universe and its contents were only dreams, visions, fiction! Strange, because they are so frankly and hysterically insane--like all dreams"

Do you think you could realize that there are no consequences to anything you do if you lived in a sensible world? Do you think you could ever see The Matrix if everything was tidy and according to logic and reason? No.

You will not realize that you are living in a dream if there is justice, and when you are rewarded for your efforts, when your peers and family honor you, when your contributions and worth are recognized, when your ideas are listened to and celebrated. Those things are for those who are asleep.

But for you things are different. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner. of evil against you falsely because it is only through such that you may be relieved of your blindness.

But can you handle the adventure? Do you want to fall back asleep and live in the dream state or are you "in" for this dive into the abyss? There are no consequences and nothing is at stake but it is a suicide run.

You are gonna die at the end of it.

For me, there could be no unveiling of the dream state by any other means than what I am experiencing and I do see it as a gift. In fact it is the only gift that I care at all about.

I get everything I pray for.
Replied on: 11:37am 01-09-2020

Dear Tom,

I think there are a lot of us looking around and asking the same questions. I am watching "When They See Us" on Netflix and, while I usually get really pissed at the downright evil on display, not to mention the ignorance of the jury, I was particularly struck this time with the fact that not one system I can think of in the U.S. is working as it should these days. The judicial system stopped working when jury nullification and the citizen's grand jury were abolished. The political system stopped working, as predicted, when "the voters discovered that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury." The education system began failing when teachers were given tenure and were no longer held accountable for their products. The economic system failed when corporations could get special favors from government in violation of a free market.

All of these systems are in deep trouble today, as if the snot-nosed kid sitting in the basement of his parents' house in an alien civilization creating our simulation on its computer (according to Neil DeGrasse Tyson) either doesn't understand what it's doing or is intentionally breaking everything down in order to glean the neurochemicals from our bodies that the emotions of our reaction/responses generate.

Either way, it doesn't matter. We, as Players, are the only ones interested in our own peace of mind. So you are absolutely right when you say "You will not realize that you are living in a dream if there is justice, and when you are rewarded for your efforts, when your peers and family honor you, when your contributions and worth are recognized, when your ideas are listened to and celebrated. Those things are for those who are asleep." And being asleep is not conducive to peace of mind.

I join you in expressing appreciation for the insanity of a broken world, for it forces me to let go of beliefs, opinions, judgments and fears if I want to maintain peace of mind.

Dear Ibrahim,

I cannot possibly know why your Infinite I would create anything for you. That is a purely personal matter between you and your Infinite I. Hell, I hardly know why my Infinite I creates some of my own experiences.

I could GUESS at several possible reasons, just to give you examples....

Maybe to give you the opportunity not to judge your abuser(s).

Maybe to give your abusers the opportunity to wake up to their own behavior.

Maybe to bring up certain beliefs you cling to that you might decide to let go of when they are pointed out to you.

All of which would be very valid reasons for your Infinite I to create those experiences, and for which you might want to express your gratitude.
