Yes, I agree with you on Jed's take on enlightenment, why I placed it in quotation marks.

I wonder how my II 'feels' about my state of 'Serenity of being' or 'Peace of Mind' does this mean I've won the 'game' and can move to the next level or let me see how much shit I can throw your way to get some kind of reaction...
Replied on: 5:55pm 12-22-2019

Dear Simone,

This is such an interesting question on so many levels.

First, we don't know that there is a "next level." It might be that once a Player has stopped reacting/responding from beliefs and judgments and fears, that they are no longer any use to their Infinite I (having "won" the Human Game), who then arranges their death. On the other hand, there might well be a "next level" in which a Player with peace of mind can perform other functions for their Infinite I. Frankly, a Player with peace of mind won't care which is true. It's only an ego that cares.

In terms of "let's see how much shit I can throw our way," I think that also depends on the relationship/agreement between the Infinite I and the Player. If the Player wants to volunteer to see how much shit they can take and still not lose their peace of mind, that might be an interesting experiment for its Infinite I. (i.e., Job in the Bible.)

It's also possible that an Infinite I might throw a lot of shit on its Player in order for that Player to perform a specific function for the Infinite I that the Player normally would not pay attention to. But the Player would always be aware that they volunteered their services and would not lose their peace of mind.

In other words, while the goal of the Player might be peace of mind, that's not the goal of its Infinite I. The goal of the Infinite I is to receive neurochemical transmissions (all kinds of them) from its Player in order to vicariously experience emotions.

I am actually just starting a new book on this very topic, called The Untold History of Earth: Who Are We Really?, in which I will reveal my most recent findings about who the Infinite I really is as well. So thanks for your question.

So...correct me if I am wrong. Jed's goal was waking up from the dream, 'enlightenment' = no self etc. The goal here is 'peace of mind'? mentioned a couple times by you. Curious....
Replied on: 2:32pm 12-22-2019

Dear Simone,

I'm not so sure Jed would agree with you that his goal is "enlightenment." In fact, he takes a pretty dim view of enlightenment, as I read him. "Waking up from the dream," yes. Personally, I don't see how anyone can achieve peace of mind unless that have awakened from the dream. So for me that would be a good starting point on your way to peace of mind.

I don't usually quote my former boss, L. Ron Hubbard, but I do think he got it right when he put "Serenity of Being" at the top of his Emotional Tone Scale. And I've never met anyone who didn't want that more than anything else.

Awakening from the dream, no-self, and even enlightenment are all steps on the way to peace of mind, or serenity of being if you will. You could also say they are all prerequisites for arriving there.

Jed, for example, doesn't talk about non-judgment, but it is an integral part of awakening from the dream. Likewise, achieving no-self by letting go of the ego. At least, that's true on the path I am talking about to the Pacific Ocean.

Hope that answers your question....

I experience that I am not "i". I experience that my reactions are wanted by " something". However, I can not agree when you present the "Eternal I" as having human like qualities. Such as, wanting to play a game. Why must we always attempt to make our "creator" so similar to us. We are so little, consciousness is so vast. We can not pretend to comprehend any sense behind it all. I am afraid by making humans players in the game, you are giving us much too much importance. I sense an ego needing an explanation behind this. Can't we agree that we have no capabilities to even suggest?
Replied on: 1:11pm 12-21-2019

Dear Cecelia,

No, we can't agree.... at least I can't agree. But I also need to remind you this is a Model, based on the best evidence available to date. As a Model, it is meant to be tried and tested, which means that the Model is not necessary the "truth."

"We can not pretend to comprehend any sense behind it all." True. We could throw up our hands and give up because the task is too overwhelming, or we can look at the evidence we have so far and build Models of what might be the bigger picture.

I invite you, instead of intellectually criticizing this Model, to test it in your own life. If it brings you more peace of mind (and you seem pretty upset), then great! If not, then it's not the right Model for you, or maybe you can improve upon it.

Lastly, "we" ARE consciousness, so when you say "We are so little, consciousness is so vast," it is a contradiction in your own terms.

What I sense is an ego that needs to make you feel small, when in fact a Player in the Human Game is making a very important contribution to its Infinite I and is highly valued.

Being pregnant is an interesting journey, from the partnership to the children already here.

But for now, I want to run the process on money and/or working.

The community wants me to get a job. I have had a small business for some time, which isn't much of an alternative. I have been trying to process how I feel about money for at least 10 years now with no avail. Being pregnant feels....different.

Question; Chapter 10 - If as stated my II is always free to create whatever future experience it wants for me regardless of my reaction to the present one and I am never in anyway part of the actual creation process, why should I want to/do I need to change my reactions and responses to my experiences, i.e doing the work and identifying my judgement, beliefs, opinions and fears, running the process etc?? No feeling, reaction or response is wrong or bad and all valuable to my II.
Replied on: 6:44pm 12-14-2019

Dear Simone,

There is NO reason to change your reaction and responses to your experiences, for the very reasons you stated, UNLESS you experience discomfort with the reaction/response you've chosen. The problem is that most people, when they have the discomfort, try to change the experience (which they cannot do) rather than changing their reaction/response. This Model is all about recognizing that peace of mind comes only when we let go of the judgments, beliefs, opinions and fears that create the discomfort and stop spending all our time and energy trying to change something we can't - the experience.

So if you're totally happy with your reaction/responses, by all means throw my book away. As you said, your Infinite I is happy with whatever reaction/response you choose, so it's really all about YOUR satisfaction with your choices.

Hi Stephen, I posted that in contemplation of Jed McKenna's "I'm done" story and Andrea's post. I enjoy reading about it when someone says "I'm done" I don't doubt it that they are, that it has meaning for them and I'd be glad if there are updates.

Done could be looked at in two ways
A story in which a cake is done when it reaches a certain temperature doesn't indicate that the cake accomplished something.
A story about a baker baking a cake does indicate that the baker accomplished something.

In my two sentence poem, the baker and the maker are both the Infinite I, while I am the cake.

There is work to be done to counteract the brainwashing of the society, its messages about cause and effect, and about the false idea that reality is out there". I don't know where that work fits in between determinism and free will but I err on the side of acting as the cake. If any I named Tom Pavlik is ever done it seems to me that it would be in that same line as a cake is done. My Infinite I might say "I put him in the oven at 350 and a half hour later he was done"

I generally avoid statements that indicate permanence. Words like enlightened, done and butterfly are like that for me.

In fact, I have been enlightened-and so what, its a word. Moreover for me that state was not permanent and I am not sorry for that. It has been my experience that this comes in waves, and over time it may be that the size of the sets of waves is increasing. In any case, in one period I'm enlightened and in another I'm not. That movie I posted discusses that phenomenon in which samadhi is experienced and lost many times. That has been my experience.

Yet a kernal seems to always remain. That is I suppose what you described when you said "once you walk out that door, you can never go back". I can't unsee what has been revealed.

Maybe I don't fully understand the "I'm done" statement though. But no two humans can ever see eye to eye and you have gone over that phenomenon extensively. Asking someone to explain "I'm done" and having them do it doesn't mean that it is possible for us two to see it in the same way. That of course includes if you do it or if it is the incredibly eloquent but to me, sometimes contradictory Jed McKenna. All gurus are contradictory, it is not possible that they would not be according to my interpretation of the tower of Babel metaphor in the bible.

But none of this is important or serious. I can't say that I'm done but I do sense the arrival of a set of waves and I am excited (and yes a bit scared) about being transported to a new crest.

The work of yours has been so delightful to me and has so often been a part of vaporizing what seemed to be heavy burdens. Thank you eternally

Dear Tom,

Thanks for your most interesting explanation of your 2-line poem. I honestly never thought about being the cake rather than the baker or the maker. It's always great to have someone present me with a new perspective, and for that I thank you.

One of the questions I'm asked most often is, how can the brain itself be a hologram if its function is to download holographic frequencies from the Field? It's a good question, but one that is based on our current linear thinking of space/time.

The article Randall gave us the link to (below) has a paragraph that I just love that deals with this issue....

"Where are these quanta of space? Nowhere. They are not in space because they are themselves the space. Space is created by the linking of these individual quanta of gravity."

They are not in space because they are themselves the space. This is how the quantum/holographic world works that is so different from what we were taught. In a quantum/holographic world, en electron can be in two (or more) places at the same time, and the brain can be both a hologram and a holographic receiver. Hard for us to think that way because of all of our old limiting belief systems, but we must start to learn to think differently.

Thank you, Infinite Is, for all the physicists who can think in a quantum world and lead the way.

Dear Randall,

Thanks. Interesting article. Just so people know a little of what it's about to know if they're interested in reading it, it starts off...

"Loop quantum gravity seeks to reconcile general relativity and quantum mechanics... It is a cautious attempt because it uses only hypotheses already contained within these theories, suitably rewritten to make them compatible. But its consequences are radical: a further profound modification of the way we look at the structure of reality."

A cake is done through the efforts of the baker. Anything done is through the hands of the maker.

Dear Tom,

I would appreciate some clarification and elucidation of this statement, put in terms I use. For example, who is the "baker" and who is the "maker" (Infinite I versus Player)? And how does this square up with Bashar's statement that "Any idea, any inspiration, any imagination ‘you’ have ever had doesn’t come from the physical mind portion of you; it comes from the ‘higher self’ portion of you through the receiver – the brain – and is translated by the brain into a vibration that the physical mind then perceives as a reflected reality."

Hello Stephen

I love the new website. I tried to send you a donation, but the button is not linking directly to you for that to be completed, it just takes me to my own PayPal home page.

I was sending the donation to say thanks.

I have finally run out of questions and I am now done. The discovery journey is complete and the practise journey now begins...Jed says about ten years to settle in...that seems about correct. The cocoon lasted exactly 2.5 years working on it mostly full time. My own book has been trashed as it was completely incorrect. I start again after I enjoy this for a while...maybe...wherever the wind takes me.

When the donate button is rectified, please advise so I can forward a small donation to thank you again for your book. It was the beginning of everything. I loved how it all came together perfectly on the other side.

I wish you well on your journey sir...good-bye...

Andrea.

Dear Andrea,

Thanks for the news of your progress, and congratulations for leaving the cocoon. Yes, I find 10 years to be about right. I liked this quote from a YouTube video recommended by Tom Pavlik... "When a person is only used to darkness, then they must gradually become accustomed to the light." So since we are all only used to the darkness of Plato's Cave, it makes sense that it will take time to adjust. No one should think that 10 years is mandatory.... some might do it more quickly, some more slowly. But it's a good guess to start off with.

But doesn't it feel good not to have any more questions and be done?!

Thanks for letting me know the Donate button wasn't working. I've fixed it now. Forgot to update the code when I updated the website.

Good-bye to you too, butterfly. Keep in touch if you want.

Dear Stephen,

About two months ago my doctor found that there was something wrong in my both eyes. (Dont know what the symptom is in English) but anyway, maybe 10 to 20 years and I can't see well or nothing anymore (I will be 60-80 years old). There is nothing doctors can do.
At first I was stunned, of course.
Then I understand that well, if InfiniteI wants this, so be it. I Still don´t understand why, but I will found the answer sooner or later.
Right now at this very moment I'm peaceful, there are millions of blind people around the World and they are doing just fine, so why would i be? And let's see what Infinite i has to offer to me for the rest of my life. Maybe there will be things that makes me even more happier than i am now.
And this is true: I am a little bit curious what will happen in the future. Really. Cause there is nothing "wrong" that my whole life will change!

hi Stephen
i feel bad when my parents give me money. why cant my infinite I send me money in a different way?
Replied on: 5:20pm 12-03-2019

Dear The King,

Because your Infinite I wants you to keep feeling bad every time your parents give you money until you process that discomfort and are open to accepting money from your Infinite I from any source it wants to use without judgment or beliefs. Better run The Process and do Spiritual Autolysis on this "feeling bad when my parents give me money" and let go of that judgment and discomfort. Meanwhile, your Infinite I may have other sources to send you money, but it doesn't want to use them until you process this thing with your parents.

Dear Tom,

I'm watching it right now. Along with terrific graphics, there are some thoughts that align nicely with this Model, like...

"When we are identified with our character – our Persona – this is Maya, the illusion of the self. Samadhi is awakening from the dream of your character in the play of Life."

"In order to experience Samadhi, it is necessary to turn attention away from the shadows – away from the thoughts – towards the light. When a person is only used to darkness, then they must gradually become accustomed to the light." (So THAT'S why it takes 10 years, according to Jed McKenna!)

"Awakening is not about getting rid of the mind or the matrix. On the contrary, when you’re not identified with it, then you can experience the play of life more fully, enjoying the show as it is, without craving or fear. In the divine teachings, this was called the Game of Leela, the game of playing in Duality."

Cannot recall right off hand whether this movie was mentioned in the book.

The Game | 1997 (film) Drama / Mystery

Nicholas Van Orton (Michael Douglas) is a successful banker who keeps mostly to himself. When his estranged brother Conrad (Sean Penn) returns on his birthday with an odd gift -- participation in a personalized, real-life game -- Nicholas reluctantly accepts. Initially harmless, the game grows increasingly personal, and Orton begins to fear for his life as he eludes agents from the mysterious game's organizers. With no one left to trust and his money gone, Orton must find answers for himself.

Yes, it is the movie suggestion at the end of Chapter 11. It is also on all my recommended movie lists. But it's such a great movie - and so pertinent to this topic - that it doesn't hurt to be reminded to watch it again.
